Visits are Vital
Connecting With People Who Have Dementia

For those of you who have the opportunity to visit and connect with people who have dementia or Alzheimer’s, this workshop could be of interest. We are doing this presentation in collaboration with Mary Sharp and Rachel Kail of the Edcon Group.

We all probably know someone experiencing dementia, but we often don’t know how to spend quality time engaging and interacting with that person. When we are willing to open our hearts and interact in new creative ways, visits bring incredible joy.

That’s what this workshop is all about. You’ll leave with ready-to-use practical skills on how to communicate and engage others in non-traditional ways. Gripping video clips, stunning, candid photography, personal stories and entertaining audience interaction will captivate you from start to finish.
